Covid Screening

Players will be set up on the Ramp Team App so prescreen before they arrive to a practice, similar to last year. Please do not come to practice if you are experiencing any symptoms.

Arriving mostly dressed is preferred as the facilities have asked us to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the ice time. This does not give the girls very long to get ready. Hockey bags are allowed this year. Dressing rooms can be used but social distancing must be maintained in the dressing rooms.

Entrance requirements for the Memorial Sports Centre.

With the vaccination proof requirements coming into effect Wednesday September 22, 2021 the arena has made changes to the process of entering the building. Instead of entering and being screened at the Ice For Kids or 52 Doors all user groups will be screened at the Main Doors. Specifically the westernmost main door, or the fourth door on the left when facing the building. There will be a large “User Group Screening Here” sign.

All individuals 12 years of age and older are required to provide proof of having been fully vaccinated for a minimum of 14 days to be allowed entrance into the Memorial Sports Centre. This requirement is necessary each time you attend the facility. Please have your proof of vaccination and government issued ID ready for inspection when you arrive. Other public health requirements such as wearing a mask and social distancing must continue. Please Note: There will be a 60-day grace period beginning September 22, 2021, and ending November 20, 2021, for youth aged 12 - 17 to allow for these individuals to complete their vaccination requirements. Further to this, a 60-day grace period will be extended to individuals who turn 12 during the Provincial proof of vaccination mandate to allow them to complete the vaccination process. For further information on the vaccination requirements contact Aaron Bisson, Recreation & Culture Manager at abisson@fortfrances.ca
